A souk for all generations

The concept for the gold souk in the most iconic shopping mall in the world - The Dubai Mall by EMAAR, is inspired by the contrast of this city’s past and present. From deserts and bedouin lifestyles to the high rise cosmopolitan city we know it as today, the design uses contrasting tones, textures and shapes that dance among one another to create an exciting, contemporary and modern space whilst respecting Dubai’s culture and tradition.
